Tom O’Halleran wins endorsement of Ron Barber

Sedona – Democrat Tom O’Halleran today announced that Tucson Congressman Ron Barber endorsed him in his race for Congress in Arizona’s first district, which reaches from the Flagstaff and the Navajo Nation down to the Tucson suburbs of Marana, Saddlebrooke and Oro Valley.

“Arizona needs leaders in Congress who understand how to build an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top,” said Congressman Barber. “I trust Tom to look out for families who live paycheck to paycheck. I watched him fight for all-day kindergarten—and win. I watched him work to reform child protective services—and improve the lives of countless kids. Tom won’t get pushed around by party politics. He’ll do what’s right for families.”

“I am grateful for the support of Ron Barber, who stands for Arizona values such as commitment to community, investment in education and putting people before politics,” said O’Halleran. “While Ron is well-known and well-liked by voters across Southern Arizona, he is respected across our state for his hard work and no-nonsense approach. I’m thrilled to have him on Team O’Halleran.”
