Sedona – Congressman Tom O’Halleran released the following statement following Tuesday's primary elections:
“Thank you to the voters tonight and to our supporters who have worked so hard to put the campaign in a strong position heading into the final months. Pat and I are so grateful,” said Congressman O’Halleran. “ I look forward to a spirited debate with Wendy Rogers in this election about who will be the best voice for Arizona's First District in Congress. I am excited to campaign on my record of working across the aisle to get results for our communities and working families. If re-elected, I will keep fighting to protect Social Security and Medicare, working for stronger Arizona schools, and keeping our promises to Arizona's veterans and tribal communities. I ask Arizonans for their votes this fall to keep working for our great state. ”
Tom O’Halleran represents Arizona’s First Congressional District in Congress, where he fights to get rural communities the support they deserve. Tom's priorities are protecting Social Security, standing up for Arizonan families' access to affordable health care, investing in rural infrastructure, and upholding our nation's commitment to our veterans. He has been a strong voice for ethics and accountability, both in cracking down on perks for Members of Congress, and insisting the Administration abide by the law and ethical rules in spending and other actions. A resident of the Sedona area for over 20 years, Tom has committed his life to public service, working as a police officer, homicide detective and legislator focused on serving his constituents.
